For the "Man and Space" project, I undertook the task of scanning a classic Time Life book and reimagining it with a fresh design perspective. This involved creating an entirely new layout, selecting modern typography, and developing custom iconography. Design exploration came from NASA’s own design manual, implementing their aesthetics onto the exploration of typography and layouts. "Man and Space" delves into humanity's enduring fascination with space, tracing the technological advancements that have made space exploration possible. Additionally, the book explores future possibilities, including the potential for travel beyond the moon and the impact that space experiments could have on life here on Earth.
